 The 'Golden Arches' is Mcdonald's logo, and is one of the most famous logos around the world.

 McDonald's logo represents style, significance and a strong corporate identityy.

Today, most children get a rush of excitement when they see the 'Big M' !

McDonald's delicous menu consists of five main products : beef , chicken, potatoees and milk. The producers and suppliers of all these supplies are usually located close to certain McDonalds franchises.  Fair play to McDonalds, as this helps and supports local farmers and food producers !

According to the McDonald's Corporation website (as of June 2012), McDonald's has, "More than 33,000 restaurants around the world in 118 countries. In the United States, there are more than 14,000 restaurants.." Thats a record !

Hello. I am Ruairi Kirwan and as a part of Transition Year, I will study and write on this Blog about the 'Geopraphy of McDonalds'.
 
McDonalds is the world's largest chain of fast-food restaurants, serving millions of customers in over 119 countries !  I don't think there's anyone in the world who doesn't enjoy a lovely, occasional meal from McDonalds. In this blog, I will discuss where McDonalds first originated, the various restauraunts around the world and where this famous restaurant imports its delicous foods and ingredients from.
